KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure Premium Edition is a paid virtual machine image that makes WordPress for Microsoft Azure run at high speeds.<\/p>\n

Recommended environment: Standard_B2ms instance or above (2Core of CPU,8GB of memory or more)<\/p>\n

Using KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure<\/h2>\n

*This guide assumes that you have a Microsoft or Microsoft Azure account and that you can access the Microsoft Azure portal.<\/a><\/small><\/p>\n

1. Deploy a VM image from the Marketplace<\/h2>\n

The KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure Premium Edition image is available on the Marketplace.
\nFirst, we will choose KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure Premium Edition from the Marketplace, and then explain how to deploy the VM image.<\/p>\n

1-1\u3000Search for the VM image on the Marketplace<\/h3>\n

Enter KUSANAGI in the search bar on the upper part of the Microsoft Azure portal screen, and click on KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure Business Edition in the Marketplace menu.<\/p>\n

1-2\u3000Create an image<\/h3>\n

Click the Create button on the KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure Premium Edition page.<\/p>\n

2\u3000Create a VM<\/h2>\n

We will create and launch a virtual machine from the selected image, and make it possible to log in.<\/p>\n

2-1\u3000Basic settings<\/h3>\n

The\u201cCreate a virtual machine\u201d Basics tab will load<\/p>\n

Fill in each field, and click Next : Disk > when you have finished.
\n*We will log in using the username and SSH key from this section, so be sure to keep them.<\/p>\n

2-2\u3000Select a VM disk<\/h3>\n

You will be brought to the \u201cCreate a virtual machine\u201d Disks tab.
\nSelect an OS disk type, and click Next : Disk>.<\/p>\n

You will be brought to the \u201cCreate a virtual machine\u201d Networking tab.
\nAfter filling in all of the fields, click Next : Management.<\/p>\n

You will be brought to the \u201cCreate a virtual machine\u201d Management tab.
\nFill in all of the fields, and click Next : Details.<\/p>\n

You will be brought to the \u201cCreate a virtual machine\u201d Details tab.
\nSpecify settings as necessary according to your needs, and click Next : Tags when you are finished.<\/p>\n

Confirm your settings, and then click Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Configure WordPress launch settings on the initialization<\/h3>\n

4-1 Find the Public IP on the information page for the instance you created. Access it by pasting it in your browser\u2019s address bar.<\/p>\n

4-2. Paste the public IP address that you copied into the address bar of our browser, and press enter. You will see the initialization page. (e.g. http:\/\/publicIP)<\/p>\n

4-2-1\u3000After initialization, you will move to the start screen, where you need to click the Let\u2019s Get Started!<\/strong> button. This will bring you to the subscription ID page.<\/p>\n

4-3. Go back to the Azure dashboard, and copy the \u201cSubscription ID\u201d from the instance information screen on the lower part of the page.<\/p>\n

4-4. Paste the subscription ID you copied into the input field in your browser. Then click Send<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4-5. On the next screen, enter the FQDN information, and click Send<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4-6. Start the KUSANAGI setup, and after the \u201cCongratulations!\u201d screen appears, click the Let\u2019s start WordPress<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

5. Log in to the VM and prepare the initialization settings<\/h3>\n

Next, we will explain how to log in to the VM and prepare initialization settings.<\/p>\n

5-1 Log in to the VM<\/h4>\n

Log in to the VM via SSH, using Poderosa or other SSH clients\/terminal software.<\/p>\n

After logging in successfully, the following page will be displayed.<\/p>\n

5-2 Switch to the root user<\/h4>\n

Switch to the root user using the input below.<\/p>\n

$ sudo su -<\/pre>\n
You will be asked for a password, as below. Enter the password for the user you used for SSH login.<\/p>\n
