KUSANAGI plug-ins<\/h2>\n

KUSANAGI plug-ins are bundled with KUSANAGI and ready to use. The plug-ins include accelerating features such as Page Cache and Translate Accelerator, as well as a theme switching feature.<\/p>\n

Page Caching<\/h4>\n

Page Caching temporarily saves HTML display data and reuses it to speed up the loading time of the page.<\/p>\n

Performance Display<\/h4>\n

The execution speed of WordPress and the number of queries appear on the control bar. The background color will change depending on the number. You can switch the plug-in on and off from the settings screen.<\/p>\n

Device Switching<\/h4>\n

Device Switching can change the display theme according to different mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, to optimize the display. Even with the cache function enabled, this plug-in can switch themes correctly for each device.<\/p>\n

Translation Accelerator<\/h4>\n

Translation Accelerator can disable the translation of WordPress, plug-ins and themes that support multiple languages, or cache the translation data. This plug-in accelerates the loading of translation data and reduces loading time of pages.<\/p>\n

How to use KUSANAGI plug-ins<\/h3>\n

Click KUSANAGI from the menu on management screen to show \u201cKUSANAGI Settings\u201d. You can configure each plug-in from this screen.<\/p>\n

Page Caching is disabled by default.<\/p>\n

Log in to the virtual machine via SSH, switch to root user, and run the following command to enable cache.<\/p>\n

  1. Cache expiration time
    \nYou can set cache expiration time separately for front page, archives, and articles.<\/li>\n
  2. Cache URL exceptions
    \nYou can specify URLs that you wish to exclude from caching.
    \nCache is disabled below wp-admin directory by default.<\/li>\n
  3. Query string to cache
    \nYou can specify query strings that cache is enabled.
    \nWordPress default queries have already been specified in advance, so you don\u2019t have to register them here.<\/li>\n
  4. Cache to delete when publishing an article
    \nYou can set the scope of cache to be removed at the same time of publishing an article. For example, it is effective when you want to post the latest article on the front page.<\/li>\n
  5. Clear cache
    \nYou can delete all the cache generated.
    \nPlease note that for high traffic websites, server load may increase temporarily after the cache is cleared.<\/li>\n
  6. Restoration of advanced-cache.php
    \nMake sure to click this button to perform the restoration if you want to change the cache starting time or any cache settings listed above in 1 to 4.<\/li>\n

        \nCheck or uncheck the box to enable or disable device switching. It is disabled by default.<\/li>\n
      2. Group
        \nSpecify the theme for each device.
        \nBy default, smartphone and tablet are registered. You can configure \u201cThemes to be used for smartphone access\u201d and \u201cThemes to be used for tablet access\u201d.<\/li>\n
      3. Device
        \nSpecify the group for each device.
        \nIn most case, you don\u2019t have to change the group because the value is set for most general devices by default.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        Translation Accelerator settings<\/h4>\n

        1. Enable acceleration
          \nEnable or disable the Translation Accelerator.<\/li>\n
        2. Type
          \nConfigure the type of cache. The type is set as APC by default and in most cases you don\u2019t have to change it.<\/li>\n
        3. Acceleration setting for each screen
          \nYou can perform settings for \u201cTranslated text to display\u201d, \u201cLogin\/signup page translation\u201d, and \u201cAdmin page translation\u201d.
          \nBy default, \u201cDisable translation\u201d is set for \u201cTranslated text displayed in your site\u201d, and \u201cEnable cache\u201d for others.
          \nIf you use themes that don\u2019t have translation, then you don\u2019t need to make any changes.<\/li>\n
        4. Delete cache
          \nThis clears the cache. If you have changed cache settings, please check the box and click \u201cSave Changes\u201d.<\/li>\n
